Your IFC files stay yours
IFC2Excel is built to turn model data into spreadsheets without sending the model to us.
Local processing: your IFC file is parsed in your browser and is not uploaded by IFC2Excel.
What we keep
If you create an account, we keep the basic information needed to sign you in and run the product: your email, display name, sign-in method, plan, credit balance, and credit activity.
When you buy credits or Pro, we keep the purchase and subscription references needed to unlock the features you paid for. Payment details such as your full card number are not stored by IFC2Excel.
What we do not keep
We do not store the contents of your IFC files, exported spreadsheets, or a history of the models you open. We do not sell personal data or use model contents for advertising or AI training.
Why we use product data
We use account, purchase, and limited technical data to sign you in, keep credits in sync, provide Pro access, secure the service, fix problems, and answer support messages.
Privacy-first analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate page views and website performance. It does not use cookies or browser storage for analytics and does not track people across websites. We do not send IFC filenames, model contents, exported data, or account email addresses to analytics.
Browser storage
IFC2Excel does not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We use browser storage for essential product functions such as keeping you signed in, remembering export preferences and download cooldowns, and restoring your local IFC workspace after an authentication redirect.
A temporary IFC workspace saved for sign-in recovery stays on your device, is removed after it is restored, and expires after two hours. You can clear browser storage at any time through your browser settings.
Services that help IFC2Excel run
We use trusted infrastructure, authentication, email, and payment services. They receive only the information needed to provide their part of the product. If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, that provider handles the sign-in step.
Your choices
You can ask what account data we have, request a correction, or ask us to delete your account data by emailing [email protected]. Some limited transaction or security records may need to be kept for operational reasons.
Updates
We may update this page as the product evolves. The current version will always be available here.
